As you're reading this, you are most likely in one of three groups of people at this time of year.

Group A - loving this time of year, have family and/or friends with which you celebrate the holidays with, you feel happy and festive...despite feeling perhaps a little stressed at this time of year

Group B - are mentally stable and don't really celebrate Christmas and/or New Year's...or perhaps you're working a ton at this time of year

Group C - really struggle mentally at this time of year...for any number of reasons

I've been in all three groups at different times of my life. I'm truly grateful and fortunate to not be in Group C this year.

If you are in Group C as you're reading this, my heart goes out to you.

***Here are some suggestions if you are in Group C***

- reach out and have a phone call or in person visit with a family member or friend...someone that you can be honest with

- go out for a walk...even just around the block

- re-watch a funny movie that you love

- call a "warm line" to receive support...or call a CRISIS line if you are REALLY struggling mentally right now

- consider checking out resources that I've created

This was from a few years ago while celebrating my Ukrainian heritage...on my Mom's side of the family tree. It was at a good friend's in Calgary. LOVE the poofy pants! I think I could fit about four of my legs in each pant leg 🤣😂
