to create one or more resources that can help lift your mood at ANY point including the Holiday season.

These tools will assist you:

  • When you are feeling mildly depressed
  • On those crappy days we all experience
  • To remember you that you are loved and cared for

At the end of this 90 minute by donation workshop you will leave with one or more ways to assist you in improving your mood whenever you require it!

That is the grounding of this event.

This value-packed workshop will be WELL worth your time!

The Holiday season can be mentally challenging for many people. It can bring unpleasant feelings. It can remind people of loved ones they’ve lost, of their loneliness and sense of isolation. It can bring on difficult reflections about where you are at in your life. The Holidays can be a probing and challenging time of year with high expectations.

Come to this workshop to learn tools to assist you in mentally navigating the Holiday season a little easier.

Workshop participants will be encouraged to make a donation to the Banff Canmore Community Foundation after the workshop.

***FAQ’s***
Is this really worth 90 minutes of my time?

YES! Our minds are going from the time we wake up until we fall asleep. The better you are at managing your mood, the happier and better day (and LIFE) you will create.

Who is leading this workshop and why should I listen to you?

Elizabeth from Banff Canmore Community Foundation is supporting Scott Walker from Tiaho in leading this workshop. Scott was diagnosed with bipolar disorder type 1 in 2000. He's had a handful of major depressive periods, as well as four manic episodes requiring hospitalization. Scott considers himself fortunate and grateful to be consistently mentally stable. Some family and friends say that that he's one of the most consistently stable people they know. Scott uses tools in the Lift Me Up toolkit when required to improve his mood. Scott's 21 years of experience has gone into this seemingly simple yet potentially powerful toolkit!
