FAQs
Can anyone join you hiking? YES! Come join for a lap or more...or simply swing by to say hi. Check on my personal Facebook page for updates about where we are on the mountain. So that you can time meeting friends and I at the bottom! If you're not on Facebook count on each lap being about 70-80 minutes long.

Are you hiking for 24 hours straight? Yes and no. Friends and I will be hiking Tunnel Mountain for 24 hours with a 20 minute break every 6 hours. It's not a race. Last year we hiked 15 laps of Tunnel.

I'm slow and/or out of shape. Can I still join? YES! Personally I always hike at the back with the slowest person. And if that's you that is totally ok!

Is Tunnel Mountain a difficult hike? No. The first part is the steepest. After that it is mostly moderate switchbacks.

Is this event a race? NO. The theme of this event is "Together is Better". We hike at a moderate pace. And as I mentioned above, I hike at the back with the slowest person.
